Fossil Hunting

These are the results of my fossil hunting while in Florida during March of 2024! The highlights include: megs, great white, mako, horse and ray teeth as well as turtle shell and whale ear bone!
See some of my previous trips from 2018, 2020-1 and 2020-2 to the same region to gain a background in the logistics and methodology behind diving for fossils in the Coastal region of the Peace River in Florida.
This trip focused on Caspersen Beach1 at depths 15-17ft.
I found many more fossils (ribs, appendage bones, vertebrae, etc.) than just the ones displayed here (see the gallery above). I’ll have to wait until I acquire a proper fossil cabinet before I can add them to this project post…TBD.
