Fossil Hunting

These are the results of my fossil hunting while in Florida during December of 2020! I finally found some proper megs and even what may be a crocodilian/spinosaurus tooth!

See some of my previous trips from 2018 and 2020 to the same region to gain a background in the logistics and methodology behind diving for fossils in the Coastal region of the Peace River in Florida.

This trip focused on Caspersen Beach1 2 at depths 15-18ft.

I found many more fossils (ribs, appendage bones, vertebrae, etc.) than just the ones displayed here (almost 40lbs of more fossils). I’ll have to wait until I acquire a proper fossil cabinet before I can add them to this project post…TBD.

Happy hunting!
